Intro: Life goes on    by Leejin Kim

It has been almost two years since the global pandemic deeply impacted our lives. Despite obstacles and challenges, CICA Museum has continued efforts to build a global network of artists, researchers, and local residents through our annual conferences and exhibitions. In addition, we successfully launched the CICA Kids Lab that opened up new possibilities and perspectives for our museum. We hope to bridge gaps among artists, researchers, and the general audience to bring creativity in culture.

 New Media Art 2022 features 53 international artists who participated in CICA New Media Art Conference 2021, The 7th International Exhibition on New Media Art 2021, Art Teleported 2021, and the International Symposium for Visual Culture 2021 organized by the CICA Museum. We thank our featured artists who showed their brilliant works and we truly appreciate their passion for Art despite the difficulties we are all facing.

Life goes on, and we continue with our new hopes.
